Since 6th grade (Story Poem)

All the way back in 2012 lived a young girl
Young and well
Her name was Isabel and she was a spunky gall
She couldn’t wait till school that fateful day where she met 4 girls, here to stay
12 and counting she sat at a desk, her first class science, what a quest.
Excited for school and making perfect grades Isabel was supposedly here to stay
The next year Isabel was gone replaced by another, Izzy
With loads of friends support was good
Izzy was always in quite a mood
Words of too fat, too stupid and not good enough
Was enough to not spark a trust
Hours of running, starving and tears all gone to waste as my grades were met face to face
With 8th, now hundreds of friends never again alone till the end
Izzy transformed back to Isabel
Gone with days of starving, but still the fateful whisper lingers
And a father I’ll never be good enough
But who cares anymore
There’s so much life has in store
I’m just waiting to find it.
